Where is Murray Cod Australia's headquarters?

Murray Cod Australia (MCA) is based in Griffith, southern New South Wales, Australia.

Our growers are located on irrigation properties in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA). We produce premium Murray cod in dedicated ponds, on the Murray-Darling basin river system. This is the fish's native environment, and provides ideal growing conditions.

When was Murray Cod Australia first publicly traded?

The directors of Timpetra Resources recognised Murray cod as an ideal way to capitalise on increasing demand for premium-quality, white-fleshed fish.

In 2016, three established aquaculture businesses – Riverina Aquaculture, Bidgee Fresh, and Silverwater Native Fish – were integrated to create a vertically-integrated supply chain.

Following the acquisition of the fish-producing business, the name of the company was changed to from Timpetra Resources to Murray Cod Australia Limited and re-listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on 31 January 2017.
